a preliminary testing wharfun shows no real problems. The hard work is in the integration/packaging area.
A few modules will not compile because they check for a supported environment, this is easy to fix. IPTables should be removed (or fixed+renamed for pf).

Unrealistic as a beta-target without outside help, pushing it to the 1.0 target, although this may end up being tackled somewhere between beta and 1.0.
